The Zetec engine comes from the factory with most of the hardware needed to run the Megajolt, making this a particularly easy installation.  There is no need to replace your original Ford coil pack, crank sensor or plug leads although we can supply new ones should you wish.

System includes:

  • New coil pack connector
  • New crank sensor connector
  • Refurbished EDIS Ignition module and connector

Megajolt V4
The Megajolt Lite Jr. (MJLJr) is a fully configurable, stand-alone 3D ignition controller designed to control ignition via one of our EDIS kits.  Suitable for 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines.

Our systems are fully built and include connector pre-wired with loom tails ready for connecting into your vehicle.  Also included are full instructions and RS232 cable to connect to your PC.

  • 10 x 10 ignition map, with full linear interpolation between values
  • Load axis calibrated by on-board Manifold Pressure (MAP) sensor or external Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
  • Four user-defined output switches, triggered on RPM or load
  • 'Shift light' output- for driving a dash-mounted shift light
  • External Rev-Limit trigger output
  • Modern, easy to use, and customizable Windows-based configuration software
    • Load, modify and save Ignition Configuration
    • View, log and interact with engine runtime data
    • Interactively visualize and tune ignition map
  • Dual, on-the-fly switchable ignition configuration
  • Configurable cranking RPM advance

USB-serial adaptors

USB-serial adaptor for computers lacking a serial port.

Many new laptops and PCs do not come with a serial port.  These adaptors plug into a USB socket and allow you to connect up to your ECU. 

Many cheaper adaptors give problems, these adaptors use a premium FTDI chipset and tested to work with Megajolt, Megasquirt and Emerald ECUs.
