Wideband sensor
Wideband lambda systems

Can I use a wideband lambda sensor on my two-stroke engine / use it with AvGas / use it with leaded fuel?

!

Yes, however sensor life will be dramatically shortened as contamination from the fuel builds up on the sensor.  We sell replacement sensors at a very competitive price and it only takes a few minutes to swap sensors over on the vehicle.  So provided you are prepared to view the sensor as a consumable item then a wideband will be an excellent addition to your tuning toolkit.

I already have a wideband sensor, can I use that?

!
Yes, quite possibly.  Please check with us first, letting us know the part number printed on it so that we can check compatibility.

The wideband systems has lots of connections, do I need to connect them all up?

!
The only wires you have to connect up are power and ground.  All the other connections are entirely optional.  If you want to connect the wideband up to your ECU then you will need to connect up either NBsim (if your ECU only has an input for a narrowband sensor) or WBlin (if your ECU has an input for a wideband sensor).
