Trigger wheels
!

Will your trigger wheel work with my bike engine, which runs at 13000rpm?

!
Our testbench allows us to test our wheels to speeds in excess of 25000rpm and even our tiny 2.5" wheels provide a good signal at those speeds.  The most likely problem you are likely to suffer from at high speeds is vibration causing your sensor mounting bracket to move, for this reason we recommend that high revving applications pay particular care to making their bracketry sturdy.

I've puchased a universal trigger wheel from you but now think I'd be better off with a different size/style, can I exchange it?

!

Not a problem, provided you return the wheel to us in the condition that it was supplied to you then you may exchange it for a different size/style as many times as you like.  All we ask is that you cover the cost of postage and packaging.

Are you able to fit a trigger wheel to my pulley for me?

!

Not at present but it is a service that we are hoping to offer in future.

Can you tell me what wheel will fit my car?

!

Possibly, however manufacturers have a tendancy to mix and match parts over the course of the years on different models so we can't always say for certain.  The best way to be sure is to measure the diameter of your pulley with a ruler and choose the next size of wheel up from that.  If you would like advice on the best way to mount your wheel then it is helpful if you can send us a picture of the crank pulley that is fitted to your engine.

Can you supply wheels with 60 or 72 teeth?

!

Unfortunately not.  The vast majority of engine management systems available today are able to use a 36-1 tooth pattern.  Of all the systems available we are currently only aware of two systems that are so restrictive.  The upshot of this is that due to the tiny volumes involved it is prohibitively expensive for us to produce 60-x or 72-x wheels.  If you think that you might have an ECU that limits your wheel choice get in touch with us and we will be able to confirm this for you.
